Well, I know a little French, but I've never actually studied it. The only real language class that I've ever taken is Spanish (although I did do a bit of Japanese in eighth grade), and that's only because you need to take a second language before you can go to college. Spanish is actually pretty easy, I think; but I like languages, and I pick up things that I like without that much stress.

I had a friend from Mexico who tried to teach me basic Spanish, I thought I would be able to because English and French are similar to Spanish... I was sooo bad. Besides 'hola' and things like that I couldn't pronounce a word.

XD Well, I don't think it's really that bad. The pronunciation isn't really the hardest part, in my opinion -- it's remembering the genders assigned to objects and the different forms of verbs. It's very easy to get the 'o' and the 'a' mixed up and not have a proper Spanish word anymore.

Oh, that isn't fair! I just had to take my first semester exams.. I still have another half year to go! Argh... I am beginning to loathe high school... I feel you. I have exams starting tomorrow. It's good because there's no school, you just go for exams, but it's bad because it's... well... exams. I hate cramming.

I dont even have to think about doing exams for another 6 months, clearly our school years are totally different to yours.

Yeah mine too. The exams aren't even proper exams. When I get into year 11 and 12 (which is next year and the year after) I will have the real deal exams.

You mean, no midterms? Aren't you lucky. Oh, and it snowed again today. It's EVERYWHERE and the city hasn't even properly plowed the street I live on because the snow just keeps falling. Like I said, I'll try to get pictures, because it's really nice.

Lena -- Well, I'm homeschooled, so I have school and exams whether we get snowed in or whether it's a holiday or anything else. I didn't even get my fifteenth birthday off.. and it was on Thanksgiving Day! Tim -- Ohh, that's really not fair. You're lucky people, not having to do any exams for six months.. Maybe I should move to Australia. XD Brendan -- You're not in eleventh grade yet? Well, it's not really as bad as I make it out to be sometimes when I'm ranting and raving, ( ) but it still seems to get more annoying as the years go by.. and you realize that you graduate next year and you have to face college... *shudders* It makes me wish that I had never skipped any grades so that I can wait until I'm eighteen to go to college, like normal people.

Sometimes I wish I were homeschooled, but then I'd miss all the drama Today it's a lot colder then yesterday! It's -18 C, but there's no wind so it's very much bearable. Right now it's January 17, 9:05 AM.
