Aurora walked hastily threw the streets of Hogsmeade. The cold winter wind was blowing hard on her face; she just wanted to find a warm shop to enter. She tightened her scarf around her knee and rubbed her hands together before crossing them over her chest. She pulled open the door of Honeydukes with much trouble as the wind was blowing the opposite direction for the door, so it made it hard to open. She stumbled into the room. The warmth hit her instantly. Also the fun atmosphere warmed up her spirit.
She looked around the store, people were making jokes with friends, laughing and trying out new candies. Unfortunately Rori hadn’t made any friends yet. She envied those who had mates. She looked at her shoes, she felt like a bit of a loner at the present time…

Sam was browsing the shelves of Honeydukes. He was once again in the chocoballs isle. He had already bought three packets of them but he just couldn't get enough. Sam loved chocoballs. He would live off them if they weren't so unhealthy and bad for you. The door of the store, once again, had been opened. You could tell because the little bell on the top of the door would ting. He looked across and a lonely looking girl was standing there nearly right next to him.
"Here, have one of these. They're my favourite." He said, handing her one of the pacets of chocoballs.

Rori took one of the offered balls cautiously. She smiled at him uneasily. He was much older than her and Rori thought it was out of character for a person of about 5th or 6th year to be offering a 2nd year chocoballs.
She ate the ball, it tasted quiet splendid. "Thanks." She said after swallowing it. "They're good."

Sam gave a small smile. "I'm Sam by the way." He said warmly. Sam was kind to everybody of all ages. "So where are your friends?"

"Rori." She said. "Umm." She tried to think of a reason to explain why she had no friends, but was unsuccessful. She looked at the ground a little embarrssed,"I...have...none" She mumbled into her shirt.

Sam raised his eyebrows. "What do you mean you have none?"

"I don't have any friends ok?" She said getting frustrated at this boys lack of compassion. "It's not that I'm anti-social I just don't mix well with the other students."

Again, the soft tinkling of the bell announced the arrival of yet another person. Stepping through the threshold was a boy of thirteen, arms wrapped around his small torso. A single gray eye scanned the warm, cozy inside of Honeydukes, spotting groups of people speaking in loud, cheery tones to each other. Dael's other, much more useless clouded eye, simply stared straight ahead, unseeing and unmoving.
Almost immediately his thoughs began to drift as he absently closed the door behind him, the bell making yet another tinkle. So many people! People he didn't know! A smile crept its way onto Dael's face as he moved unsteadily through the crowd, the vision on his right side lost due to his milky, useless eye.
"Oh, sorry," Dael muttered as he bumped into a much taller boy than himself. "Didn't see you there..."

Sam looked down and saw a boy much younger than himself. "Your alright, probably my fault." He said, smiling. Sam turned to Rori. "Sorry if I offended you in anyway. I didn't mean to. Here have another." Sam offered the bag,yet again, to Rori.

Noticing the boy that bumped into Sam, Rori took another chocoball glaring at Sam. She ate it, annoyed.

Blinking, Dael hardly paid attention to what the older boy had said. He squinted his one good eye, hoping to spot the area where they sold chocoballs.
"Erm..sorry to interrupt," Dael said, eye roving up to the boy and flickering towards the younger girl. "But..where are the chocoballs located?"

Sam smiled. "You can have one of mine if you like?" He asked polietly to the boy.

Dael cast the older boy a wary eye. He extended a hand, all forgetfulness and absence of mind vanishing. He remembered once being offered something by someone older and having a rather nasty afternoon.
"Thank you," he murmured.

Sam didn't know why Dael was giving him a wary look. He hadn't done anything to them. "Don't worry they're not poisoned." He said putting a couple of chocoballs into his hand.

Rori thought it odd that she, a slytherin, was hanging around with older ravenclaw students, but then again she would rather be hanging around Ravenclaws than Gryffindors or Hufflepuffians.
