The Tears Flow… Aurora leant out of the window, the cold, brisk night air swept across her face. It was well into the night, all the students and teachers were in their beds. She had tried to fall asleep in the girl’s dormitory but she kept having the same nightmare. Tossing, turning, she couldn’t handle it so she went for a quick walk. Her favorite place was the astronomy tower, her escape from the school. The tallest tower in the castle, she felt safe here. Protected.
Clouds had started to make their way lazily across the black sheet that was the sky. Only a handful of stars managed to squeeze their way through the cover of haze. Her thoughts took the better of her. Tears making their way to her eyes. A single one rolled out and landed on the window sill. She wiped it away, but they continued to flow…

Lena enjoyed going up to the astronomy tower with her pet Russian Blue cat named Rogue. She used to have a gerbil named Needles, but he had passed away that summer. Her father had bought her Rogue as a gift. Rogue had been a kitten, but now she had grown and had started scratching up all of Lena’s stuff. It was very annoying, but Lena enjoyed having a pet.
Up the stairs to the tower she went. Astronomy was her favourite subject because it was super easy. As Lena walked in, it was completely quiet, just the way she liked it. A lot of people came up to the astronomy tower; couples and friends etc. But never so late. But then Lena spotted a suspicious looking figure, looking out the window. Raising her lantern up, Lena saw it was a person. Ugh.
As Lena approached the figure with Rogue at her heals, she realised it was a young girl who Lena had seen in the commonroom sometimes. Lena looked down at her. “Hey,” Lena said awkwardly, secretly hiding the urge to throw the girl out the window so she could have the tower to herself. Lena looked closer and saw the girl’s tear-stained face. She was crying. Lena frowned. “Pull yourself together.” Lena said sternly. She wasn’t going to give the little girl any sympathy. “You’re a Slytherin. Why cry?” Lena, assuming the girl was a first year or something, thought that she should be happy to be sorted into the best house.

Rori looked at the girl and wiped away the tears. She sniffed and straightned up.
"You wouldn't get it." She said coldy at the girl. Rori noticed the cat that had followed the girl into the tower. Can't people in this school keep their noses out of other peoples business’ She thought.
Rori turned to look out the window, at the sky. "Why are you up here anyway?" She asked blankly, "Do you always but into peoples business'?"

Rogue hissed violently at the young girl, but Lena just smirked. “In fact, I make a habit of it,” Lena replied sarcastically. Lena wouldn’t have expected someone from her own house, especially a first or second year, to show such disrespect towards her. Did the girl know no tact?
“In case you didn’t notice, you’re not the only one who enjoys coming up here at night. Not that you seem to be enjoying yourself much,” Lena said, pulling her night-gown down past her knees. She was quite cold. “Anyway, I came up here to think. Alone.” Lena added coldly.
Oh well, Lena thought, first year or no first year, I’m going to get comfortable. Lena pulled out her wand and waved it. A cushion came flying across the room and, instead of landing at her feet, hit the window and fell to the ground. Shrugging, Lena sat down on it and leaned back.

Watching the girl make herself comfortable, Rori figured that she wasn't going to leave any time soon, she might as well deal with it.
"Oh please don't let me get in your way." She replied sarcastically. Rori didn't tolerate it when people whom she had never met confrount her and tell her off. Rori turned on her heel a prepared to leave the tower with the intention of finding a place to be alone.

"Don't worry. Everyone gets in my way."
Obviously the girl was not from a prestigous family like Lena for she seemed to have little respect or politeness. "The whole school gets in our way, but you've just got the deal with it." By "our", Lena meant Slytherin. You've got alot to learn, Lena thought to herself.

"In our way ey?" Rori smirked, this may be alright after all. She was very bold for a person talking to another who was much older than she was, but that is just how Rori was. She had forgotten the reason she was up in the Astronomey tower in the first place.
Rori yawned, it was getting quite late. She turned and left the tower down the marble stairs in which she had come up.

Lena leaned back on the cushion, still rather surprised by the incident. The younger student was quite rude, yet quite bold. Lena watched as Rogue began tearing up some parchment with her claws. I better get going soon, too, Lena thought after awhile. Grabbing her cat, she made her way down the staircase and back to the commonroom.
