Chelsea was walking throught the hallways and corridors admiring the painting on the walls. Outside was raining and by the looks of it, there was a storm coming so she thought she would play it safe and stay inside. BANG a huge bash of thunder echoed through the hallways. Chelsea covered her ears and looked down. There was a bit of water on the floor and it it's reflection she could see one of the painting was open. Curious, she walked over to see what was inside.

Raleigh was walking through a corridor when she saw a girl looking at a painting, though the painting was open. But that didn't make sense, why would a painting be open? Had this girl done something to it? Or maybe somehting was wrong?
Filled with curiosity Raleigh went up beside the girl.
"What are you doing?" She whispered as if the painting might awake.

Chelsea was still looking through the hole in the wall, which is usually covered by a large painting, when somebody came up to her and whispered something. Startled, Chelsea jumped a little and looked down but sighed a sigh of relief when she saw the little first year standing beside her.
"Oh, hello there. I think i've found a secret passageway. Just one of the hundreds located in Hogwarts. Remarkable isn't it?" She said brightly.

"Wow." Raleigh said. She then got that look in her eyes that anyone who had known her more than a day would know as the "i'm going to do something i shouldn't" look. She looked sideways at this girl slyly. Then her face dimmed as she realised how much trouble she had gotten in at her old school and decided against it. Shoving the older girl in and closing the portrait was probably not the best idea anyway. And it was slightly mean. But what was stopping her having a little fun? A little exploring of the tunnel should be just that.
"You know, my next class isnt for about half hour and by the looks of your bookless hands yours isn't for a while yet either. What do you say we go in and explore?" Raleigh asked. Before she could respond she added,"You look like the type of girl that would enjoy a little excitement anyways. So what do you say?"

Being the Hufflepuff Chelsea was she didn't have a tendancy to brake the rules and braking the rules could get Chelsea into alot of trouble, but she had been a little down lately and thought some excitement or, in this case, exploring would do her some good. She gave it a short thought. It was like two peole were having an argument in her head.
I'm not sure if this is a good idea, I might get in trouble or even worse a detention.
Don't be stupid. A little exploring can't hurt.
But.....
The voices had stopped and Chelsea had made her decision even though she didn't think it was the right one.
She took a step towards the opened painting and said "Well come on then. What are you waiting for?"

"You." Raleigh laughed to herself at the girls worried face. A Teachers pet, no doubt.
She climbed into the passageway after her, it was just big enough to crawl through, though she was a lot smaller than the girl. As she did, her foot caught on the portrait and pulled it closed. They were in complete darkness. Raleigh calmly pushed at the protrait but it wouldn't budge.
"Guess we will have to go to the end of the passageway, if there is an end. Maybe we will be stuck in here for ever and never have to go to classes and we will just rot away inside here and noone will even know we are gone." Raleigh said brightly.

Chelsea rolled her eyes as the girl entered the secret passageway. Like she would pay any attention to a first year Gryffindor. She reluctantly entered the "small" space with ease.
This girl's overconfidence is going to come back and haunt her one day. She thought as she entered.
The passageway was dark and "small". Chelsea fitted perfectly even though she was quite alot taller than the first year. The stone was as cold as ice but no matter, Chelsea had a warm jacket under her Hufflepuff cloak.
"Oh I'm really scared," She said sarcastically, "Don't you know that almost all of Hogwarts passageways were old classrooms, hallways, wings, floors even rooms that have added themselves on leaving gap and spaces," She thought for a moment, agitated, and said "Obviously not!"
Chelsea quickly got out her wand and muttered the spell "Lumos". A brilliant beam of light came out of the tip of her wand, lighting the whole place for about ten metres around them. She started to walk quickly down the now newly lit passage. It seemed to get bigger and bigger as she walked on. She wasn't sure weather the annoying little girl was following or not and to be quite honest Chelsea didn't care. She walked a bit further and came along a room lit with candles. The room was draped with red, green and gold rugs with pictures of different types of dragons on the front and unusual patterns for the borders. It looked like it had been used regurlaly because of the fading on the capert beneath her. That would explain why the painting was opened. On the floor there were smaller, thinner rugs that were about ten metres in length and they had no patter or picture. They were just plain red. Candles were hovering towards the sides of the walls and they were burning brightly. There were paintings of old knights and damsels mounted up on the walls but one of the picture frames were empty. Chelsea soon found out that the Knight who looked bold and brave with long golden locks of hair and a square chin was chatting up one of the damsels in the portrait next to his. As Chelsea walked through they paintings followed her with their eyes.
"Nox." Chelsea said, and the brilliant light, which was not so brilliant now that she was in a lit room, slowly died away.
She turned around and saw the annoying little girl behind her and let out a massive sigh.
"What are YOU doing here? Can't you just leave!" Chelsea said vigorously. She made a special effort to over do the you.

What is this girls problem? Raleigh thought. She was nice enough but she needed a serious attitude adjustment. She clenched her fists angrily. She was now standing up in the room but she was too mad to look at her surroundings
"Do you have a split personality or short term memory loss or some other incapability that i should know off? Where else would i be? I suggested coming here, I wouldn't suggest it, watch you go inside then walk away. Just because you are older it doesn't mean you are superior to me! You are no more mature than i, and if you think I'm just annoying than why did you come down here in the first place? Anything would be better then doing what an annoying first year says!"
She violently shoved the girl away and drew her wand. When she suddenly heard a big bang and found that the girl had disappeared.
"Girl?" Raleigh called. Did she have the power to apparate? Further looking canceled that out, but she did have the power to fall through trapdoors in the floor. She knelt on the floor and looked down but all she could see was darkness.
"Girl? Girl! Are you OK?"
