Jacen was so excited to learn about something new that he hesitated when Professor Bobbins said to copy down what was on the board. Once he snapped to, Jacen had to quickly write all of the notes on the board onto the piece of parchment he had already laid out. He didn't bother to write them neatly because he would eventually copy them again, very neatly and formatted for easy studying.
'Boggarts...' he thought while copying the notes down. Once he finished copying them down, he got a little worried about what might show up for him if he were to face a boggart. Would it be embarassing? Were there others with the same fear as him? How would it present itself...?

Bobbins had finished marking the work and looked up. Almost everyone had finished and the time was up anyway.
"Ok times up. Everyone put away their things and come and stand at the front of the class in a group."
He got up and walked to the front of the class and smiled a little at them all.
"Now we are going to learn the spell Riddikulus to fend of the Boggart. After me say Riddikulus.....Riddikulus."
Everyone repeated the spell.
"Well done everyone, very well done. Ok, the charm alone, isn't enough to finish a Boggart. What really finishes it, is simple but effective. What could it possibly be? Happiness and laughter. I will explain. Think of something that truley frightens you. Ok do it now."
He waited for the students to think for a while.
"When you have done turn it into something amusing, funny. Oh and remember to say the charm clearly and to have your wand ready. Don't be afraid either. Remember we are in a classroom using a Boggart. These things aren't real. I will give you an example."
He moved infront of everyone. Pushing everyone backwards polietly. Moving his hand, he opened the chest and out came the Boggart. He had his wand ready and concentrated on something funny. The Boggart changed to simple darkness. Yes, Bobbins was afraid of the dark but he always overcame his fear.
"Riddikulus!" He said calmly.
The darkness turned into a clown making silly faces and blowing up balloons, flicking his wand, the baloons would turn into shapes of magical creatures. Bubbles were blowing everywhere around him.
"Ok quickly form a line behind me and I will move letting you each have a turn." He said casually.

The vividly green eyes of the brunette girl in the last row jumped up from her notes as the professor instructed them to form a line. Tabitha Lawson had come in just before the bell hand rang, unbeknownst to most of the class, and had taken an empty seat near the center of the row of desks. She had not had the opportunity to answer the professor's questions yet, and so she leapt at the chance to prove what she knew.
Tabitha stepped up to the head of the line and replaced the professor with a determined look on her face. A long willow wand was held at the ready in her right hand, and as soon as she stepped before the boggart, it transformed again. The form it took was unmistakable to all who were present: a towering Death Eater, hiding in a black cloak and behind a mask. Tabitha's jaw set and, aiming her wand, she fixed the image in her head before crying, "Riddikulus!"
A gust of wind from nowhere blew the robe up over the head of the masked figure, and underneath were a pair of skinny, pallid legs and a pair of frilly pink underwear. Tabitha couldn't suppress a chuckle, for, to her, at least, the image was so completely absurd that she couldn't resist. Glancing at the professor, she stepped back to let the next person in line have a go at it.

Lena hung back as everyone got into line and then took her place in the very back of the line. No way am I doing this. Lena thought sourly. Lena knew what she feared most: things like her father and her stepmother actually getting married and having kids, bad hair days and she couldn’t think of how embaressing it would be if everyone saw the person she was afraid of. Well, not really afraid of, just akward around. And awkwardness was scary.
She racked her brain for something else she was afraid of. Something not so embaressing. Uh, spiders? No. Um... Lena honestly couldn’t think of anything that wouldn’t complete humiliate her.

Tim stood in the around the middle of the line, he was wondering what the boggart would turn into when he was faced with it.
He was scared of something but not enough for a boggart to turn into them. What am I afraid of most? He thought, then it hit him. Oh no, please don't turn into that. He pleaded with the boggart in his mind.
It had come Tim's turn to face the creature. He had his wand at the ready, there was no way he would be able to stand seeing what he was about to see. The chest opened and the boggarts flopped out of it. It lay emotionless, lifeless on the floor. It was a young girl, a young girl with long wavy brown hair. She was in slytherin robes. Blood coming from her head into a puddle of the floor. It was Rori. She was dead. She was dead on the floor in the Defence Against the Dark Arts room.
Tim turned from it for a second, how could he face his dead sister. The he took a deep breath and pointed his wand at the girl on the floor.
"Riddikulus!" He yelled boldly at Rori's corpse. She got up from the floor and took a spin around, turning it into a dancing pig in a tutu. Tim gave a short laugh and made his way to the back of the line, breathing a sigh of relie that that ordeal was over.

Bobbins thought it was very brave of the two Gryffindor's to conjure the spell infront of a fake Death Eater and the lifeless corpse of Rori O'Maley. Even though it wasn't real it still looked like it was they real deal. He had not yet given out points to Ravenclaw or Slytherin but he was going to do so after the lesson. He thought he might give points to the two Gryffindor's for a great effort but he would just wait and see if the other's were as brave and as excellent as theirs.
"Well done, well done. Ok next person please." He said, getting a little excited.
